NIGHTMARE'S REALM

Nightmare's realm is a collaborative project between 20 SCAD students as part of a 395 course. We worked together to combine everyone's skills in concept, 2D, and 3D animation to make a hybrid short.

Everyone had to take part in each step of the process, staring with concept ideation, which is how we voted for Victoria Perugini's idea - a horror trailer.
I sketched many ideas, but developed my favorite a bit more and included the color palette Victoria, now our director, initially considered for the project.

The team liked the idea and I got the go ahead to come up with a turnaround for the character, which we referred to as Skelly.

Moving on, I was responsible to modeling, rigging, texturing, and lighting Skelly, and the slug (designed by Izzie Brookshire).
